I’m not for everyone. But you can always unfollow.

I don’t often vent. But it’s being done today.

Shortly after arriving in Mexico for my retreat, I posted the following photo to my Prettysic IG story.

Since then, I received a message from a follower suggesting that my post was insensitive. Apparently, I am not considering other women who are still going through their journeys and I shouldn’t post pictures of me on vacation.

I found this message to be very peculiar. Am I not supposed to live because people are being diagnosed with breast cancer every hour? Should I not celebrate reaching the other side of my journey? I smiled all through my journey, and you really rethink that I’m not going to celebrate now?!!! After undergoing five months of chemo and three surgeries? Now that I’m on the rebuild .. you really think I’m not going to be extra?!?!

Good luck with that! You’re gonna get all of this joy!

It’s impossible for me to even fathom how my happiness could be considered insensitive? In fact, I think it would be extremely ungrateful not to celebrate after all I’ve been brought through. Besides how does my happiness affect you?

Listen, I am here for a good time. I’ve been blessed to be here and I’m going to live everyday! If you’d like to join me, strap on for the ride. But if you have an issue with my joy, please unfollow. (If you can’t handle a little bikini post, you certainly won’t be able to handle all the fun I’ll have when outside opens all the way up!)

Respectfully,

❤️T
